The ADVANCE Partnership Summit (APS) is a biennial happening organized by the ADVANCE Think Tank, a progressive group of leaders within Ohio’s I/DD field eager to take on its most challenging issues and concerns. The APS is typically sponsored by the industry’s “heavy-hitters,” including Ohio’s Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), the Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA), the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA), and the Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (OACB).

A perennial goal of the APS is to help unify provider, County Board, and DODD leadership teams. in an effort to stimulate “positive disruption” throughout the field, and within individual organizations. Over the 2-day event, an expert facilitator guides the group of 100-150 participants through discussion, debate, and activities designed to forward solutions and strategies.
